How rite time boxer matelily52501 postedI have a female and male boxer. They have had one litter already she gave birth on July 7. I know she is in heat because she is attracting other males and she is swollen. When she was in heat last time she didn't bleed and she hasn't yet this time but she has a whiteish discharge. I want to watch her closely so i know when it is time for her to mate but i don't know how to tell with her. She does alot of dry humping to my male and they play all the time. I want to make sure that it is my male boxer that she mates with. Any help will be grateful. Thank you so much for your time. additional---------------------- I have a female and male boxer. And for thoes who dont know me and is none of your bisness she is going to get fixed after she has another litter. And she is an inside dog. When she went into heat the first time i didnt know and i am not doing it to make money or anything. I am giving them away to friends and family who want a pup so they are all taken already. Sponsored Link-------------------------- megz repliedSo are you going to over breed her and breed her every time she goes into heat or something? Give the dog a break and get her spayed. Why can't people sell AVON for extra income instead of DOG???? CC(Happy Holidays) repliedAre you a reputable breeder, conact your mentor if you are. ♫♪ Nekkid Bootie ♪♫ repliedits not even been a year since her last litter.. she should not be breeding again already.. just because she's in heat and humping means nothing. Actually she shouldnt have more litters.. one is already too many.. get her spayed. If your friends and family want a boxer, they can get one thru shelter and rescue.. breeding for family is a BAD idea. You will likely end up stuck with most of the litter. Just get her spayed.. stop adding to the population problem. Lioness repliedWhitish discharge could be a sign of a problem. Intact females can get pyometra infections, which can be fatal if not caught in time. If you don't know what you're doing, why are you breeding? Because you can? Thanks for adding to the shelter problem. Reece Braveheart Aussies repliedIt's not good for her health to breed her back to back, if you insist on breeding her skip the heat after the litter. Do you have a fenced yard? Don't leave her out in the fence unattended because she could be bred through the fence. If you've had a litter before you should know that a female is fertile in the second week of her cycle, between 9-14th day. GroveStreet repliedWait for the next heat cycle. Edit- it is none of my business, nor any other YA individuals business to know if you are a reputable breeder or not. Love the self righteousness on here :) Ocimom repliedPlease have them neutered and spayed. You really don't know anything about the proper way to be breeding dogs. Have your dogs been tested for genetic problems and cleared? Do they have championship titles. If not, then get them fixed. hockey_gal9 *Biggest Stars fan!* repliedUgh, another BYB selfishly adding to the shelter overpopulation problem. If you did your research and had studied the breed for years under a mentor, you'd know when your dogs were ready to mate.
Call your vet tomorrow and make appointments to get them fixed ASAP. Every pup your b*tch whelps is a dog killed in a shelter. Shame on you for being so selfish. |
