How cook frozen stir fry veggiesAmanda M postedI am making teriyaki chicken and am wanting to heat up some frozen stir fry veggies to serve over rice. How should I cook them? They are from Costco, so I can just dump them into something...what do you suggest?

Core repliedI'd dump them in a frying pan with a little water and wait until they're heated thoroughly. Wouldn't take more than 10 min. cwgiusti repliedPersonally, I don't like the frozen ones. They don't come out crisp, but a little too mushy. Fresh are soooo much better. But if you do use frozen, just use about a tbsp of oil, add some seasonings, and only cook them long enough to heat thoroughly on a fairly high heat. If the heat is low, they'll be mushy by the time they're done. Don't overcook them. lili repliedCook stir-fry yes you can dump the frozen vegetables right into a pan, add garlic, add seafood or meat and your favorite stir-fry sauce tormentt repliedtoss in right in skillet with a bit of butter and some of your fave seasonings, maybe some soy sauce...and there you got it. super easy. ~et~ Littleshellwoman repliedStir fry involves a bit of oil.
