Sponsored Link-------------------------- Mrs. Atm repliedyes, I felt the exact same way about harry potter. I felt like the magic was gone and that it would never come back. It hurt to know that the story of Harry Potter ended. It was like he died after all, he seemed so real. Knowing that the stories are gone and finished I feel an empty feeling inside. In my opinion it would have been better if he died then we would know there is no possible way she could continue the story. Now it is like there is an open chance for her to write another but she isnt. i think why alot. why would you want to stop writing something that won the hearts of millions of people including mine. when you win a persons heart and then let go it breaks their heart. Lorna repliedi hate it when a good book ends and i wonder what is happening to the character (strange, i know) i like to make my own endings up Eternal Cynic repliedI'm just like you. A great book is just depressing to put down, after reading. And what makes things worse is that I always finish reading an interesting book within 24 hours. Not good. At all. Paul B repliedYES I got the Twilight series all at one time I read the first 3 books in 4 days. Then When I started Breaking Dawn it took me over a week to read it. I kept putting it down I did not want the story to end. It was the same with the Harry Potter series. Clint repliedOh, I know what you mean. The last series I finished was The Lord of The Rings. I had withdrawals for a week. I just finished King's Song of Susannah (Dark Tower #) yesterday and I'm dreading going on to the seventh and last book. I don't wanna know what's at the top of the Tower. ronnica [i know youre jealous] repliedYeah I always feel sad when I finish a really good book. :( And I'm always thinking about the book for the next few days. SuperHuman repliedYea extremely. It's like i just wanna keep reading but there's nothing left to read so you kinda feel upset. When i read it's like i'm in a whole different world experimenting with different things. I love it. Bring Tyler the Horizon repliedIt what i thought when i ended reading twilight...breaking dawn have a happy ending and all but,...I want more xD 4Wheels repliedYes I feel like a birthday party for me is all done and the guests have gone home the cake is put away and the fun is over. Plus I feel like I can not Start another book because I am attached to the last one I read If the book was really good I will feel like the next one is horrible because it dose not come up to standards of the last one. ♥Lynn's Angel Lacrymosa repliedYes, especially when it was a good book. kiwi repliedI'm always really sad and it takes me a while to find a really good book again! Twilight_Lover repliedyeah, i'm always sad when that happens. i hate when the story ends, it annoys me Louise C repliedI do feel a bit sad when I finish reading a book I like, but I can always re-read it later. I have some books that I have read twenty or thirty times over the years, and I will probably read them many more times if I am spared. fairy gal repliedYES! i am glad tht someone feels my pain! whenever i read a good book and it ends i feel like sad. babycakes;; InLOVE with Twilight repliedYES. It gives me a satisfying BUT empty feeling all at once. Makes me wanna cry, lol. It also makes me wanna know what happens to the characters afterwards? Of course it's all fiction..but I can't help wondering lol. Lizbit77 repliedI sometimes stop reading a book when there are a few chapters to go, because (as weird as it sounds) it's almost like saying goodbye to a friend.
I mean, you've traveled with them on so many adventures, and then suddenly, there's no more. That's why fanfiction (if written well) is so great. I felt sad at the end of Lord of the Rings, more than any other book. It was so final. |
