What I strengthen wrists♥cheer luvr♥ postedI am definitely flexible enough to do a back bend, because I do great bridges, but when I try an actual back bend, I fall, because my wrists can't support me. And Also after doing just a few cartwheels, my wrists hurt very badly because they are weak. What is a quick way to strengthen them? Ellen L repliedthere are wrist exercises with light dumbells. i used to watch it on Caribbean Workout. u just start out with ur palms aligned w/ur forearm, and just let ur wrists and fingers curl down with the weight and then lift it back up. i think u can do it the other way round also, with ur palms down. Dawn repliedbreak them lol jk well it really does make them stronger but give them a rest *Caitlin* ethan:) repliedi just stretch my wrists really good before i go to do any gymnastics, get one of those stress balls and after using that awhile it should make your wrists stronger. have you tried using gymnastics wrist supports?? here is a link to some wrist supports. :)
