Am I dying I panic attackThe One and Only postedI am overweight, I am 5'7" and 210 pounds, so I ordered diet pills (Apidexin) online. You're supposed to take one pill before breakfast and one before dinner daily, but I misread the directions and took a third pill before dinner. When I read the directions and realized I took one extra pill, I began to freak out, got chest pains, and got nauseous. I was about to cry and I was freaking out. It felt like I was going to die right there. My sister and her boyfriend calmed me down by telling me that only one pill extra won't kill me, as long as I don't do it all the time. I still feel a little nauseated, but I feel a lot better now. These heart attack feelings happened about a half hour ago, and lasted for twenty minutes. Will I be okay? additional---------------------- Also, it felt like my heart was racing. I am still a little nervous but I calmed down quite a bit. I also decided that I will never take diet pills again. Sponsored Link-------------------------- dali333 repliedyes you had a panic attack. the mind is a powerful thing. Rick W repliedDid you know that diet and exercise are also a good way to lose weight? Your not going to die until March, 19 2011 - 11:54:02. Don't worry it has nothing to do with your weight. Sam B repliedHave you ever heard of mas-hihstarium? Its like if everyone is around you is sick, you will feel sick, its your brain playing tricks. You can just about do anything, and for someone who is mentally unstable it is a very common thing. You are not dying nore did you have a panic attack. You just are scared of things. P.S. you will not die, nore get hurt by taking 1 extra pill, you have to take a lot FREE HUGS FOR ALL repliedif i were u id go to an ER now ...dont panic thugh but just to be safe bro Heather repliedI highly recommend you stick with your decision never to take those pills again. Here are several reasons not to take them: 1. They are completely ineffective. 2. The ingredients listed on the bottle may be false and in quantities vastly different from what is stated. 3. Many of the herbs/drugs used in diet pills have unknown effects and they also contain herbs/drugs that are KNOWN to be dangerous. The effect you mentioned sounds like the drug has ephedrine in it, which has been shown to cause heart attacks. It is a powerful stimulant, which will increase your heart rate and blood pressure. The safest and only effective way to lose weight is a combination of diet and exercise. Lori repliedWell u shouldnt take anything other than from a dr. you prob panicked yes and anxiety causes chest pains, but id think id want to know and know now, my dad just had two heart attacks, he is young he shouldnt have at that age, the first one he took 3 wks prior it saved his life, the second was just a few wks ago and he was lucky to have taken the first one and nothing happened, if he didnt this time he would have had a massive heart attack and dies, dont mess around go get checked your heart shouldnt hurt like that or chest pains over anxiety alone, not that bad, but im not u so im not sure how bad. second u could over dose so taking an extra could mess u up. it hasntt so far but id be sure, they can pump your stumack if they are worried, but get rid of the pills my mom took those they dont work and contain speed, so taking them with change your mood, and yes yoiu are high to gain more energy. do u know these people that makes these, it could be anyone come on now be smart..I am worried about you please go into a hospital just make sure you will be okay these meds are time released and can be dangerous.good luck i hope you are okay and i wish you the best PrettySweetz repliedDiet pills have massives amounts of caffeine sometimes and other ingredients that will trigger anxiety/panic attacks...You were having a panic attack...
Some diet pills will make you feel as you have an anxiety/panic attack for up to 3 days sometimes longer...some times they trigger them and you will get them out of no where even after you have stopped the pill. |
