Me i take the blame But my wife should not be getting letters from them for somthing that has nothing to do with her. What should i do?

W/E Pretty Girl repliedNo. She's not responsible for your past debt. Of course, that depends on what state you live in, but for the most part, your debt is your debt, her debt is her debt and anything joint is both of your responsibility. Unless your wife was a reference or contact for the loan I see no reason why she would be receiving anything related to your debt. That is actually a violation of your privacy, whether you're paying the loan or in default. They should be well aware of privacy laws. :-) I would have your wife contact the collection agency and allow her to tell them that it is not her loan. They have the capability of looking things up and they can handle this. Also, make sure she knows how to talk Shizznick, b/c those people are nasty. They don't care who pays the bill they just want to close the loan. They don't care if the information is correct or if they've even got the right person. They just want their pay. She may want to check her credit as well, just to make sure nothing weird has happened or it's not listed somehow. Good luck! Mike B repliedAs soon as she became your wife, she became partially responsible for your past debts. Taylor repliedby marrying you, she married your debts. Just pay the debt and then you won't have to worry about the letters.
