Hamas is a group founded by Hezbollah, which means 'Party of God' in Arabic. They are religious fanatics who hate the Jewish people and support al-jihada, or armed struggle/holy war, against Israel to dissove it. One can only assume from there that they would force the Israelis to leave, as Arab fanatics did in the late forties (Sephardic Jewish exodus in 1948 to 1957--850,000 people from Middle Eastern countries). Of course, most Muslims and Arabs are not this way and it is wrong to misunderstand Islam and Arab culture but in these situations with Lebanon and Palestine, it is obviously a problem.
