Is HCG level 1300 12 week pergnancynomad1620 postedMy fiance had a lot of bright red watery bleeding this morning followed by some clotting. We went to the ER and they did blood work and a pelvic exam. The only information we could get out of them was that her hCG level was around 1300, which they said was high. I know that number is high for a non-pregnant woman however, every web site I look at says at 12 weeks she should be at 25,700 - 288,000. Are there two tables of measurement used?(I doubt it). We are going in ASAP to have more blood work done at the clinic, and hopefully an ultrasound. We are just torn up, worrying about this. These hCG levels seem to indicate a miscarriage to us.

Ill pray for you and your baby hope all works out MomtoAngels repliedI'm sorry for what you two are going through. Those levels do sound awfully low and accompanied with the bleeding and clotting it sounds like she is experiencing a miscarriage. A non-pregnant woman would have a level below 5. The next round of bloodwork should provide more answers. I will keep you both in my thoughts. Arun's Mum repliedAs for as I know the HCG level you given for 12 week is very, very low.. it should be in 5 digits..
I hope the lab is wrong.. and baby is ok.. my prayers are with you guys.. |
