A Beth of Fresh Air repliedIt has it's pros and cons. In the past, this was a bonus incentive for WWE Superstars who had already been hugely popular. In my opinion, I think that they should focus on better movies whenever they offer these roles to the WWE Superstars. So far, The Rock as really been the only one who really recieved any really good movie roles. Acting is an important part of the kayfabe element of the business. It seems that the better they are selling that kayfabe element, the more than fans will enjoy seeing those movies that those superstars appear in. Overall, I think it was too early to offer Mr. Kennedy & Ted DiBiase, movie roles. Neither of them were really "over" enough before recieving those roles. So, I feel that The Rock & John Cena have earned their way into movie roles. To be honest, I didn't mind watching "The Marine". It was a hell of a lot better than "Southland Tales" with the Rock.

I feel that those roles should be an incentive for prior success. In the instance of Kennedy & Ted DiBiase, I think that these are going to be vehicles that help to get attention outside of the WWE. I think that is the wrong direction to go. I believe that those two WWE Superstars should have established themselves more before appearing in films.

So, overall. I don't think it's that bad of an idea. But, those roles should be given to WWE Superstars after success, not before it.

Tony W repliedI think the wwe begin apart f the movie industry is cool after all look at the Rock and stone cold both started in the wwe and made great movies then countied to make great films plus the mariene with the Dr. of thuganomics john cena tht was awsome plus i think behind enemy lines will be a box office hit.
