I deleted recycling binjedilounge1 postedSo there was this file that I uninstalled but I wanted to get rid of it for good so I deleted it from my c drive... anyways I went to empty my recycling bin when all of a sudden... BAM I hit delete instead of empty... so my recycling bin kinda ate itself... -_- any way I can get it back without migrating to another account on my computer? :D Sponsored Link-------------------------- Core repliedAll you did was delete the shortcut. I don't know what it says because it depends on what OS you're using; but you're looking for the control panel that allows you to change desktop icons. Jordan L repliedThat sucks! Try to see if there is any way at all to re-download it. Bob repliedIf the operating system in Microsoft Vista, go to; start>control panel>appearance and personalization (non classic-view)>personalization - and - on the side it should have Tasks then under that, Change desktop icons, click and check to make sure that recycle bin is checked, otherwise perhaps downloading a windows patch may address the issue, also e-mailing microsoft may give you an answer somewhere within a year! Gonzalo G repliedyou cant delete it...only Chuck Norris can... Patrik repliedok....**** happens hehe.....so go to: 1.Control Panel 2.personalisation 3.change desktop icons 4.recover predetermined values that is if you have windows vista but its similar in every windows......the think is that you to restore the values or add the recycle bin....that you can do it in the control panel....and in the desktop configuration... *sorry for the englis mistakes...im spanish speaker whononie repliedyou need a new computer, yours is trash now when it gets full Sean S repliedi think u have to redownload it My Evil Twin replied. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . ,.-‘”. . . . . . . . . .``~., . . . . . . . .. . . . . .,.-”. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .“-., . . . . .. . . . . . ..,/. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ”:, . . . . . . . .. .,?. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ., . . . . . . . . . /. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ,} . . . . . . . . ./. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ,:`^`.} . . . . . . . ./. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ,:”. . . ./ . . . . . . .?. . . __. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :`. . . ./ . . . . . . . /__.(. . .“~-,_. . . . . . . . . . . . . . ,:`. . . .. ./ . . . . . . /(_. . ”~,_. . . ..“~,_. . . . . . . . . .,:`. . . . _/ . . . .. .{.._$;_. . .”=,_. . . .“-,_. . . ,.-~-,}, .~”; /. .. .} . . .. . .((. . .*~_. . . .”=-._. . .“;,,./`. . /” . . . ./. .. ../ . . . .. . .`~,. . ..“~.,. . . . . . . . . ..`. . .}. . . . . . ../ . . . . . .(. ..`=-,,. . . .`. . . . . . . . . . . ..(. . . ;_,,-” . . . . . ../.`~,. . ..`-.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... . / . . . . . . `~.*-,. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..|,./.....,__ ,,_. . . . . }.>-._. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .|. . . . . . ..`=~-, . .. `=~-,__. . . `,. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .`=~-,,.,. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . `:,, . . . . . . . . . . . . . `. . . . . . ..__ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .`=-,. . . . . . . . . .,%`>--==`` . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . _. . . . . ._,-%. . . ..`. You don't need to use a different profile, do a system restore, or download anything. You cannot delete the recycle bin; you've just hidden it. On Vista: 1. Open the Control Panel 2. Go to Appearance and Personalization 3. Go to personalization 4. Click Change desktop icons on the left bar 5. Select the check box for recycle icon and Click OK On XP/ 2000: 1. Open the Control Panel 2. Double-click Display 3. Click on the Desktop Tab 4. Click on the Customize Desktop button 5. Select the recycle bin to display 6. Click OK 7. Click OK |
